Klamath Falls Group Runs
Monday Speedwork - 5:30 pm
Speed work at KU Track: Led by Nathan Stroh: Join us for some fun workout on the track. Speed work is essential for building fast-twitch muscle fiber so you can out kick your friends at the next race! Don't worry, if you are new to this type of training we'll help you along the way. This event can have as many as 15 and as little as 1 depending on schedules and weather. Lights are typically turned on in the winter with a few lanes of the track with the snow removed thanks to Nathan.
Wednesday Mixed Social - 6:00 pm
Road/Trail Run. Rain or shine, all year around, meet at Asana Yoga and Sole @ 1205 Klamath Avenue for a fun group run. Pace and distance varies with ability and, at times, different groups run at different speeds (and distance) to accommodate all levels of runners. This is a great non-competitive way to experience group running and meet other runners in Klamath. Winter routes are typically on roads or paved trails, be sure to bring your own water, layers, and shoes/spikes depending on the weather. Routes vary from 3 to 10 miles (loop back to start) depending on who shows up and the weather. This is a easier pace casual/social run with regrouping every mile or two at critical junctions. Dinner and drinks afterwards at a local restaurant.
